Lucy – Salon Manager & Owner

My role within the salon is being the “Boss Lady”. Although many would think this a hard job – it really isn’t, because the girls around me are a fantastic team, which makes it an easy one Originally from a banking background, I became fascinated with the nail industry back in 2002 when I qualified as a nail technician. Training in beauty therapy came some 2 years later, where I started the business from humble beginnings in the back of my garage. Our client base expanded year after year, and I am very proud to be the salon owner of Brooke’s Beauty & Spa, located in the tranquil village of Caldecote. The business has grown rapidly and we were thrilled to open our second salon in Waterbeach in January 2018, based within Inspired Health and Fitness Club. We now have a team of 10 Beauty Therapists who are experts in their field, sharing our knowledge across both settings.

Fun fact: I was brought up on a pig farm and have successfully completed two static parachute jumps from 1800 feet!”

Courtney – Senior Therapist & Owner

I began my career in the beauty industry with Lucy back in 2012. Since then, together we have grown the business to its current status, where, in 2015, we became Brooke’s Beauty & Spa. January 2017 presented the opportunity to expand the business to a second location, Brooke’s Beauty, based within Inspired Health and Fitness Club, in Waterbeach

Lash extensions are my expertise within the salon, although I really do enjoy performing all the services we offer

As much as I love my job, my other passion is travelling. I’ve been lucky enough to visit many different countries and experience fun activities such as bungy jumping and paragliding.

Fun fact: I am a brown belt kickboxer and played football most Saturdays. My parents are very shocked that I now have such a girly job!

Shannon – Senior Therapist

Brooke’s gave me the opportunity of work experience from Cambridge Regional College where I studied beauty therapy for 2 years. I became a fully fledged member of the team in July 2017 after qualifying with flying colours.

Miss Flexibility is my middle name – I enjoy carrying out all treatments within the salon, however, some would say I have magical hands when it comes to massage.

When I am not carrying out treatments, you will find me reorganising the salon or walking in the countryside!

Fun fact: Being the daughter of a mechanic – I can change a car tyre!!

Hollie – Beauty Therapist

After always being interested in beauty therapy, I completed my training and have worked within the beauty industry for over nine years now. I really do love every aspect of the job.

My favourite treatments are manicures and pedicures, because I get to be creative and can talk and really get to know all my lovely clients!

Fun fact: I can do the splits!

Steph – Beauty Therapist

My absolute love is eyebrows, but always enjoy providing any beauty service. I have been in the industry since 2012 and have only had a short break after having the joy of my life, little Alfie, who is now 3.

Family life is very important to me, and I absolutely love socialising with them at weekends and going on short family breaks together.

Sophie – Junior Therapist

My favourite treatments are facials and massage, but I enjoy doing all treatments. I love getting to know my clients and having a good giggle.

I am the newest member to the Brooke’s team and loving the opportunity of working here. As well as beauty I enjoy travelling, playing tennis and trying new activities.
